Cupboards can easily contain a great deal of clutter and when there is too much clutter this can be very frustrating. HouseProud share the following tips on cleaning those cluttered cupboards.
When the enthusiasm strikes to clean, start from the outside in. Take care of the clutter scattered around the room before digging into a cupboard. Starting with the cupboard makes double mess.
If you are faced with an overcrowded cupboard, schedule an hour to work on it. Write it in your weekly list as a project. But do not try to finish the cupboard in one session. When the hour is up, stop. Schedule another hour and then another until the job is done.
To keep mess to a minimum, before you begin clenaing a cupboard, arrange four boxes nearby to categorise those things that should not go back in.
Work on one small section of a cupboard at a time. Do not empty the entire clutter at once. The resulting chaos is sure to set you back or put you off entirely. If you absolutely can not bear the thought of throwing something away, take it to a charitable group or an opportunity shop.
