Before your carpets are cleaned by HouseProud's professional, trained and insured cleaners the following will be handy to ensure the job gets done with as little distractions as possible.
- Pick up all small items from carpets.
- Remove all items that are in and on furniture that needs to be moved.
- Pick up all small rugs.
- Remove items from the floor of the closet if the closet carpeting will be cleaned.
- Remove anytinhgs frm under beds if the beds will be moved.
- Open windows, if weather permits.
- If the house is not open, turn on the air conditioner.
- Wash the soles of the shoes you will be wearing on the damp carpet, or dirt from footwear will be transferred to the carpet.
- Do not move carpet back until carpet is completely dry, usually taking 3-4 hours.
After your carpets have been professionally steam cleaned be aware of wet surfaces, do not put towels or newspapers on the carpet and then vacuum the carpet thoroughly after it is dry with a clean vacuum.
