Cleaning Coffs Harbour Holiday Homes

Thursday, September 29, 2011

Many of our customers own holiday homes in Coffs Harbour. We help them ensure their guests experience a pristine clean property. Many of their guests have been returning to the same holiday homes for years and have referred family and friends. We have found guests look after a property that is sparkling clean and well maintained on their arrival far more than one that is not. Ensuring the holiday home is clean means there is less likelihood of guests suffering allergies from dust mites and bed bugs etc. We clean the holiday home the same day that guests leave to avoid any linen turning mouldy, remove any garbage to avoid any unpleasant smells, and ensure the home is spotless and ready for the next lot of guests.  We also change any bed linen and launder it offsite. We have a cleaning checklist that we use to ensure everything is taken care from dusting to polishing the kettle. We can provide a meet and greet service on request to personally welcome your guests on arrival. We conduct final checks before leaving the home, especially in bathrooms to make sure they're pristine; and are careful to make sure there are no surprises such as hair in the drain. With our Houseproud cleaning checklist you can be rest assured that the cleaning will be done to a high standard. We are here to help you notice any damage, breakages or missing items. Houseproud knows that your holiday home must be spotless at all times and there is no excuse for your guests to arrive at a dirty home. Read More...

We know how important it is for our Houseproud customers to move into a sparkling clean home.  Everyone hates a dirty kitchen, especially people's cooking smells that are still lingering long after they're gone. It's also the place where as cleaners we really spend a lot of time and energy making sure we have cleaned every surface, especially inside cupboards and the oven. Some people might find that the previous owners barely used their stove or kitchen cupboards - lucky you!  Read More...

Home Cleaning CherryBrook and spring cleaning

It is that time of year when we can open up the windows and let fresh air and sunshine in to our homes. If you suffer from allergies you probably hate cleaning, but the longer you wait, the higher the risk you will be miserable with hay fever. It is important to regularly vacuum and dust your home. Houseproud recommends you have your carpet and upholstery professionally steam cleaned at least every six months to help get rid of dust mites. If you have pets make sure you wash them and their bedding weekly in hot water as pet dander can trigger allergies. Remember to dust the cobwebs from your ceilings. If you have had spiders live in the warmth of your home during winter now is the time to get rid of them! The average spider takes only 30 to 60 minutes to completely spin its web. The best device for cleaning up spider webs is the vacuum cleaner. If you do happen to handle live spiders wear gloves to avoid being bitten. Read More...

Home Cleaning Kellyville spring cleaning

It’s spring! The sun is shining, the flowers are blooming, the birds are singing, everything’s fresh and new, the perfect time for spring cleaning! It is a time to spring forward and start straightening up your home. We recommend you don’t spend time spring cleaning your accumulated clutter. If you really want to stream line your cleaning process, take a few minutes, go room to room, and take stock of what’s in sight, as well as what’s hiding in your cupboards. Think carefully. Do you really want to keep that purple and orange stuffed elephant? Do you really want to clean it? If you can’t bear to part with your collectibles, try storing some and displaying others, rotating your selection from time to time. You’ll have less to clean. If you really have a lot of treasures and knick knacks, think about buying a glass-fronted display cabinet. The glass will protect your ornaments from dust, and you shouldn’t have to clean them more than once a year. Are you really going to reread all those magazines? Recycle them or donate them to charity. Get rid of anything broken that can’t be repaired. Think carefully before you purchase any gadgets etc, if you don’t buy it, you won’t have to buy it or store it. Read More...
