Home Cleaning Glenhaven how to clean like a pro

Thursday, August 25, 2011

Gather all your cleaning equipment and products in one container before you start your round, ideally something with a handle is ideal. Dress for success in comfortable clothing and shoes. Decide on your approach and be consistent. If you decide to clean for an hour, stick to it. If you decide to clean one room now and another tomorrow, stick to that. Indecision and distraction can really affect how well you clean. If you start out doing one thing and end up doing another, you’ll have a houseful of half finished projects, and you won’t feel as if you have accomplished anything. This can be extremely frustrating! Sometimes it might be a good idea to start with a room that requires the least amount of effort which is often a spare bedroom. Think of this as a warm up, start with the lightest job, and you’ll see results fast. This will help motivate you to keep going! Generally speaking work from top to bottom. Dust from the light fixtures, tops of furniture etc.., will fall onto the carpet and floors. So do the floors last and you’ll know your house is really clean. Don’t backtrack. Finish one task before moving to another. Sometimes it can help to put on some loud fast music to set the pace and keep you going.  Houseproud cleaners are professionally trained to clean in an efficient way to a check list system. If you really can’t do the cleaning yourself give us a call 1300 880 198. Read More...

You can sometimes prevent 90 percent of the spots and stains from liquid spills if you take immediate steps to absorb the mess.
