We have been inundated with calls from Sydney home owners in the last week or so wanting to use Houseproud’s carpet cleaning service after the recent Sydney floods. We hope Sydney has had its share of flooding for a while. However we did think we should put together some practical advice for you in the event of any future flooding
We recommend you take the below steps:
Find and stop the water intrusion source.
Identify the extent of the water damage. We recommend you trace the pathways of the water to find where the damage has spread.
Plan and start the clean up by collecting everything from the floor and moving furniture.
Find a spare room where some of your household items may need to be stored temporarily while the restoration is in progress. It is important that you protect your personal belongings from any water damage
